Schreiber Public Library serves the Township of Schreiber, the Village of Rossport, and Pays Plat First Nation.
The Library is a vital part of the community. The Library provides opportunities for lifelong learning and serves as an information hub where residents can access information about the local community organizations and services.
Library staff can answer questions about community services and events, or provide pamphlets and brochures on a variety of topics.

Schreiber
The Township of Schreiber has a proud railroad history since 1885 and is currently home to approximately 1,200 residents with roughly 130,000 people within a two hour drive. The Township is located in a valley surrounded by rugged hills and on one of the most northerly points of Lake Superior.
Schreiber offers a full range of municipal services and boasts many recreational opportunities for the young and the young at heart, including numerous hockey clubs and leagues, as well as figure skating. Schreiber has two weeklong annual festivals - the Winter Carnival in February and the Heritage Days celebrations in July.
